Myths and Legends are my bread and butter
The Starsboro Chronicles were born of ghost stories and legends that people confided in me as well as the world wide web and various TV shows. Obviously, I went a bit extreme with How to Get Arrested. Mostly because I wanted a consistent threat I could pull out in times of need (see How to Make a Monster in the omnibus). But I love taking someone’s experience and turning it into something more. As a result, I’ve done a lot of research on myths and legends. I’ve studied the Hook Man stories (How to Stalk a Stalker) and the changeling legends from Ireland.
Locally we have a few haunted places and some urban legends but I’d love to hear yours. What’s your favorite urban legend or haunted place where you grew up?
